About your instructor....
Originally began training in Olympic Freestyle Wrestling in 1991. Competed in several prestigious competitions such as the London,Southern Area and English Freestyle Championships and was placed first in his weight category in each event.
At the age of 17 was invited to instruct at the Metropolitan Police Olympic Freestyle Wrestling training club based in Hendon,North West London.
Began professional training in1993 at the Hammerlock School of Wrestling,based in Folkstone.
Was later given the task of coaching at the schools weekend classes
Toured extensively throughout the UK and internationally with various promotions before joining the Frontier Wrestling Alliance in 1999.
In 2000 won the FWA British Heavyweight Championship and later went on to assist Mark Sloan in coaching at the renowned FWA:Academy based in Portsmouth.
Continued to tour the UK and international destinations before stopping active wrestling in 2007 due to illness.
Returned to wrestling in 2008 by taking over as the head instructor at LDN promotions.
Opened the Justin Richards School of Wrestling in 2010

The Justin Richards School of Wrestling is dedicated to crafting the next generation of British professional wrestlers.
With a heavy emphasis on chain wrestling, our aim is to actively encourage our students to concentrate on the mechanics behind the wrestling holds that they are taught and will eventually go on to apply in their matches.
Each week students are taken through fundamental aspects of professional wrestling, consisting of the correct application of simple holds and counter holds, as well as more advanced takedowns and controlled throws. As students of the school progress, lessons will include a more in-depth understanding of the correct structure that is required for performing on shows.
Advanced trainees in attendance will be welcome to participate in a continued overhaul of their current abilities.
All classes feature a specialised pre-training warm up and conditioning session that is targeted to maximise each individuals current fitness.
( With this in mind, please be aware that you will need to have a certain level of fitness before commencing any training. with us )
We stress the importance of structured teaching in a disciplined environment.
If you are not totally committed to understanding the art form of professional wrestling, then the Justin Richards School of Wrestling is not for you.
